1st Mechanized Infantry Battalaion, LAD, Phil.Army Anniv Game
July 13, 2007The 1st mechanized Infantry Battalion, Light Armor Division, Philippine Army celebrated its Anniversary last 23 June 2007. As part of the celebration, in coordination with Team AGL and Warpigs, 1MIB was able to organize a simple yet intense event.
During the morning, the troops of the 1MIB displays thier Armored Personnel Carrier(APC) and Armor Fighting Vehicle (AFV) Simbas as well as performed a demonstration of Basic Squad tactics and Manuevers.
In addition, Airsofters gathered by AGL and Warpigs at the Army Adventure Zone made an opportunity to battle against the REAL SOLDIERS when they are tasked to be an OPFOR for their Inter-Unit Tactical Competition. Team SPOW was able to participate and played against the troops of 14 Company, 1MIB. Underwwod, Mellowmood, Ghostrider and Sgt Viper performs and accomplished the mission to ambush the Army Troops.
After the "Boodlefight" Lunch, the afternoon games started. Team SPOW, showed off and stood out among the crowd as it performs and execute each mission with precision, ending the day with a great smile on our faces and new lessons are learned.
