Team SPOW @ OP: Killbox by ASG-NCR
October 30, 2008The Special Operations Warfare Airsoft Team members acted as Opposing Forces (OPFOR) for the recently concluded OPERATION: KILLBOX hosted by Airsoft Games Philippines Inc -NCR Chapter (ASG-NCR)
The event was participated by 10 teams with 10man each team. There are two fields for the participants to run with, and with several OPFORS that will come along the way to make things more challenging and more exciting.
Even an unfortunate incident happened, all the members of Team SPOW who are tasked to defend several objectives successfully did their job with precision, teamwork and discipline. Everyone had a good time although exhausted by one after the other 10minute game scenario to defend throughout the day, and after Kirk got an imbeded BB on his head (after an incident) and another unfortunate incident, everyone went home smiling and proud.
Another event to remember. Another event hosted by comrades from ASG-NCR that is new, challenging, exciting, funfilled and action packed event. To ASG-NCR, Congrats againmga kapatid!
And to the memebrs of Team SPOW, JOB WELL DONE GENTLEMEN!
Team SPOW at ABA’s Brown vs Green 5
The Airsoft Brotherhood Alliance hosted the Brown vs Green Part 5 grand airsoft event. The event was held at the most challenging terrain of Bravo 8 Gamesite in Angono, Rizal.
Although several of the team’s members was not able to join and participate, and only a competitive 7 -man team contigent of Ghostrider, Espee, Psych, Chicklord, Kirk, Kiumad and Wildstorm represented the tea for the said event.
After finding the right spot to camp our unneccessary geras and equipments, we reported to the Green Main Base Camp and received orders from our Supreme Commander. Soon after, the team was dispatched to reinforce fellow Green Army Contigent in the middle part of the gamesite. The terrain is one of the most difficult terrain with uneven ground features, will almost 6ft high grassland with several trees, we are able to re-group with the rest of our Green Army comrades near the Red Cross Station. From there, the on-site team leaders generated a plan to launch an assault with an objective to gain more grounds and to further close in to the enemies’ perimter.
The initial stage for the assault was tiring and exciting for the members of team SPOW after displaying a strict sense of discipline, attention to order, precision and team work. On the other hand, after several hundred meters of crossing high grasslands and uneven terrain (we even came down and crossed a nearly dried creekbed), several of the members of the team can no longer take the punishment being thrown by mother nature. The humit heat of the afternoon made us all almost weak and catching our breaths with only a limited amount of supplied water that made most of the contigents to went down and gather strength leaving behind Ghostrider and Kirk, whom with the help of fellow green army cpomrades made their way just outside the perimeter of the Brown Army main Base Camp.
After several minutes mother nature hit us again with another blow, after striking us with the burning and exhausting heat of the sun, came a cool and moderate rainfall. after covering our precious batteries in order to keep it dry from the rainfall, we continued to exchange heavy amount of fire with the Brown Army.
At the end of the day, the Brown Army won the game, by capturing most number of POWs and completing several additional objectives. The event ended after almost all of us recieved prices from the raffles, as well as we gave away a token of support also for the raffle.
Oh, did i forgot to mention that the cover girl for the newly launched men’s magazine LIBERATED, Model Mitzy graced the event, signed numerous number of Liberated Magazine Copies and capturing tons of pictures with almost all of the participants.
Truly, an event that most of us will never forget. We conquered at the same time and certainly did we learn a lot, for the next BvG Event, we will be more prepared for anything that we will come accross with.

Team SPOW receives an invite for a private game
June 16, 2008On ona particular Sunday afternoon, the men and women of Team SPOW was invited by a small group of airsofters from Quezon City to play with them at their private gamesite in Munoz.
The gamesite is composed of three large warehouse and a very wide open field. We had a day of fun filled with action scenarios although we were not able to reach the maximum number of players. Although we left the gamesite early that day to consider our travel time.
We are still hoping to be back on that gamesite anytime soon…Kudos to the site owner!
Team SPOW visits KM18 hosted by Team Project Phoenix
Another gamesite that we are able to visit is the ever challenging terrain of KM18 Gamesite a.k.a. Vietnam in West Service Road, Paranaque City.
The host team for that day is Team Project Phoenix, whom are very accomodating and is strict in implementing safety and rules of play.
To our surprise, Team Project Phoenix headed by Sir Peewee callsign BadCop held a 30minute Airsoft Clinics, an airsoft orientation briefing on Rules, Regulations, Safety, Proper Conduct and other issues that one player should and should not do in playing airsoft, in and out of the gamesites. The result of the clinics can clearly be seen during the games that shortly followed, complaints are almost in a zero count, “hitcallers” disapeared like majic and “zombies” remains unheard. All in all, the exciting scenarios that project phoenix have for us brings more fun and camaraderie.
After tha fun filled games, we manage to have a little time chitchatting with each other while downing several bottles of beer right there and there at KM18 some plans are laid and and suggestetions popped out.
In behalf of the members who attended on that particular day, we would like to give our warmest thanks to Sir BadCop and the rest of Team Project Phoenix for welcoming us to play with them…Until next time sirs!
Team SPOW visits Slaughterhouse Gamesite, Army Adventure Zone
As part of the activities laid out for the members of Team SPOW, our first stop is at the Slaughterhouse Gamesite at the Army Adventure Zone and was hosted by Team Warpigs.
The whole day was packed with lots of action packed scenarios although the weather is not on our side and we have to stop playing from time to time to protect our AEGs juiced by Li-Poly Batts away from the angry rain that fell almost the whole afternoon.
Its nice to see some familiar faces playing with us on that particular day, most of which are regular sunday afternoon players at Nayong Pilipino.
We somehow manage to stood out in the challenging scenarios set by the host team, from assaulting the white bus, defending the white bus, capture the bomb and the likes.
In behalf of the men and women of Team SPOW, we would like to extend our gratitude to Team Warpigs for accomodating us at their gamesite. Until our next visit!

At the GSTQ 1, Team SPOW is serving the Kingdom of Azrael with the leaderhip helm of Fallujah and the objective is to rescue the Azrael Queen which happens to be Viva Hotbabe Maui Taylor. The Azrael Army established a truce with and negotiates with the mercenaries named the Oilers of Torah to completely over run the angry mobs of Ivalice Liberation Army.
At its sequel, GSTQ 2, once again the three kingdoms have met and declared war as another revolt uprised from the remaining strength of the Ivalice Liberation Army. Team SPOW once again supported the Kingdom of Azrael and pledged its loyalty to its reigning King Fallujah. The objective is to rescue the ubducted Queen of Azrael this time Viva Hotbabe Hazel Cabrera at the same time to protect the Queen of Ivalice Liberation Army who is PBB Star Say Alonzo.

11 Nov 2006 Game: Prelude to OP: Shadow Strike
November 13, 2006After a week of waiting, Saturday came and again, it's time for some Airsoft Action. Although the weather seem to be in a bad mood, because of the said storm arriving that day, Team SPOW were not discouraged to play. Sir Ghostrider, being the Team Leader, arrive first at Nayong Pilipino then Zepolje, Subzero, Kmarlaika and Capcom soon joined the team. The site was filled with almost 50 Airsoft Players, armed and ready for action. Team SPOW immediately loaded up for the next game. With only 5 members present, the team did its best on every scenario by applying team work and strategy. Games include, the usual skirmish, defend-assault, and speed ball. Though the scenarios were constant, experience of every player varies and was be different than before. Every Airsofter that day has his own story of thrilling action to tell. After a halfday of games, everybody seemed to be tired, but the smile and story of every game keeps on coming. At the end of the day, the real fun of the game is not because of how much you spend for your gear, but the excitement and fun you get when playing with your team mate and working as a team.
Some of the pictures…
More to follow… HUAH!SPOW!
